Been coming here since I was an infant. Father has been coming up to this camp for 30+ years. Great place to be.

The only reason I have rated this so low is because of the customer service. The place itself is nice, but the person we dealt with was very rude to us in front of my 8 year old daughter. We were early which may have been why he was so angry at us, but we were only inquiring what time they were open, so we could come back at check-in, to which he replied "It won't be open today, I will have to register you". Then proceeded to yell at me because I didn't tell him I would need to get my car into the park, even though I thought that would be just be a given. When we get to our cabin, someone else was in it, so we had to go back and find the rude guy, and ask him to open the other cabin, he opened it, but we never got a key to it for our entire stay. We also couldn't get any wood, as the office wasn't open for the weekend, but there are signs posted that you may not bring your own wood, therefore we did not have a fire. We came to visit some friends who stay there seasonally and were considering getting a seasonal spot, it's a shame because the area is nice, but there is no way I want to ever deal with that man again. We will have to find another seasonal spot.

We are entering our 7th year at Horseshoe Lake Camp as seasonal trailer campers. The park is huge, clean and beautiful. Our site is incredibly private and peaceful.

This is a family oriented trailer park with camping and cottages. Owner does not put up with flagrant rule breakers. Quiet park, nice beach on Horseshoe Lake. Halloween in July for the children (free hayrides on Fridays). Charity auction with live band in the summer. If you visit you will leave after making more friends.

The beach is immaculate with soft sand and a shallow shoreline perfect for the kids. Dock space is ample and the lake very calm.
